Cows play an important role in land-health ,environmental health and also the health of human beings. As per the Vedas the cow is considered to be one of the seven mothers. We drink her milk and the bull is the father. Grazing of cows and bulls on land improves the health of land and environment due to enrichment of cow-dung. Hence, cow protection are considered as sacred and a sign of prosperity with happiness, Rather it is not a charity but a social responsibility. In vedic-shastras cow has been considered as the most pious living being. The cow gives us milk, curd, ghee, gaumaya, gaumutram which are known as Pancha Gauyam are very essential in one’s life for having a pure and chemical free life.

It is often said that what goes around comes around- The more you give, the more It comes back to you.

The cow is believed to have all the pilgrimage inside her and hence serving a cow means serving Lord Krishna himself.

Lord Shree Krishna was called Gopal as he used to take care of almost 9 lakh cows by himself. It is believed that the four heels of the cow represents the four Vedas, The trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh reside in the horns and Goddess laxmi in the cow dung.

Lord Krishna states in srimad bhagwat gita, chapter-10, verse 28:

dhenunam asmi kamadhuk dhenunam”

(“Among cows I am the wish fulfilling cow”)

Thus, the cows are the mothers of all living beings and givers of all earthly pleasures – Atharva Veda.

Hence, we should try to serve the cows with similar attitude by providing them food, shelter and medication. Our mission is to take care for stray, abandoned cows, bulls, retired oxen and orphaned calves. We provide them hay, flour, fresh grass, clean water, medical attention and a place where they can recuperate from injuries and stay peacefully.

Cows need us and we need them, every penny you donate would be used for their betterment and we would forever be grateful.

Your contribution can help them a lot.
